Ustream.tv is the live interactive video broadcast platform that enables anyone with a camera and an Internet connection to quickly and easily broadcast to a global audience of unlimited size. In less than two minutes, anyone can become a broadcaster by creating their own channel on Ustream or by broadcasting through their own site, empowering them to engage with their audience and further build their brand.
Histoire
Ustream.tv, established March 2007, is a website which consists of network of diverse channels providing a platform for lifecasting and live video streaming of events online. Co-founders Johnny Ham and Brad Hunstable met each other while attending the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. While enlisted in the military, Brad and John teamed-up on a web-based digital photo enterprise developed and built by Dr. Gyula Feher, another Ustream founder. In 2003, the two were separated, forcing the photo venture to cease operations. John was deployed to Korea and Brad was assigned to work directly for the Department of Defense. After completing their terms of duty, Brad and John re-connected with Gyula and began a new business venture: Ustream.tv.
