Histoire
Rediff.com India is a news, information, entertainment, and shopping portal. It was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India with offices in New Delhi and New York, USA. Rediff.com offers one of the oldest and largest Indian weekly newspapers, India Abroad, which was founded in 1970 by Gopal Raju. Rediff.com acquired India Abroad in April 2001 from Raju, its publisher and creator.

Robin, an IT specialist and programmer, teaches in a college in Peshwar. He was abducted February 11, as he was returning home from work.
