Buzznet se distingue des sites média traditionnels et des réseaux sociaux ciblés sur les pages de profil et les outils de communication en permettant aux internautes de programmer des communautés multimédia dynamiques autour de la musique et de la culture pop.
Histoire
Buzznet.com est un média de réseau social photo, journal et de partage de vidéos. Fondé par Marc Brown, Steve Haldane, Kevin Woolery et Anthony Batt, l’actuel président de Buzznet inc., le site a été officiellement lancé en 2005. Avant la fin de 2005, journaux et journalistes utilisaient déjà les galeries photo de Buzznet.
