Histoire
Al Arabiya est une chaîne d’information en continu, en arabe, fondée le 3 mars 2003. La chaîne appartient au groupe MBC et son siège est basé à Dubaï. La chaîne essaie de concurrencer la chaine du Qatar, Al-Jezira, ce qui n’est pas facile. Al-Arabiya propose une information rapide et précise sur le monde. Dans le monde arabe, beaucoup pensent qu’elle est pro-américaine. La domination de la chaîne Al-Jezira laisse Al-Arabiya un peu loin dans les sondages d’audience. Elle emploie 400 salariés dont 120 journalistes.
